Tight assignment!

i am supposed to stay at home - i am off today - butcoz of our special focus on budget 2010 - everybody talk about it...naa..here i am..at my office. assignment for tomorrow frontpage - about tee keat will never leaving MCA! - marching proudly till the end.

- basic rough sketch base on photo in our stocks - (copyrights remain to the respective owner)

- a bit tough to do caricature of tee keat. hard to find point of recognitin on his face...but anyway after a couple of sketching and doodling..:) -

-and the final just to show ong tee keat marching forward proudly...

Final touch in photoshop - all toning using custom brush. artwork sketch with derwent studio sketching pencil-ivory black 67- scan at 200 dpi.

after long halt...due to...toooo many project to and want to do...this is my first post. two illustration showing before and after complete. fist pict showing raw scanning pict - manually sketch on A3 layput paper. sketch using mechanical pencil 0.7 2B nib.

Its Almost A Year!

Its almost a year since my last update about this blog!:( So very busy with my day works untill got no time to updates a couple of my blog relates to drawing/sketch caricature and illustrations. Mystudio69 is upn running smoothly...and today i do illustrations and sketchingand drawing fulltime at my studio at home. I quit my dayjob as graphic designer about 2 months ago - march 2007. Feel happy and freely to struggle with my passion...:) Good luck to me!

Wake up early this morning. Furnishing mystudio69 website since last 3 days. Now its up and running smoothly at mystudio69.com. actually all contents almost the same with the old one but i make it more simple and clean. So many complains from user that they confious and lost while browse through the old one.

And its more confious when there is a lot of add popup(i park at geocities before this..) I hope this time its getting better to get more hits and clients! Hope got free time to add more tutorial. Hope got more time to add tips on caricature. And also got free sketch for those who interest to get one! Enjoy! :)

Mr Jimmy Carter

hi...so boring today, i donno why. May be because of routine of my work or may be because i am not enjoying all works that my boss assigned me! ekekekekeke....anyway here i post my old artwork, a caricature of mr jimmy carter.

I draw this caricature using derwent studio color pencil(blue grey 68). its not like other color pencil because i feel soo comfort when using it to do sketching on whatever paper surface especially paper that got rough texture. i am using syamal drawing pad 200gm.

<-- a caricature of Emile Lahoud , Lebanon's president in pencils. It takes about 25 minutes to finish. Scanning and touch up in computer. It is more easy to scan and edit in computer for hiliting and erase the unwanted dirts.:)
